Recently we had a very upset customer contact us and complain that he had seen his puppet on our website. This is not the first time this has happened and we need to address this once more for everyone to understand.
Most importantly before we go any further, this customer is not upset anymore. We are not in the business of making folks upset with us if we can help it. However, if this customer had read this newsletter before he lost some of his valuable time and energy getting upset, he would have been much better off.
So here goes. This is the policy once again.
WE DO NOT DO DUPLICATES FOR ANYONE OTHER THAN THE ORIGINAL OWNER OF RECORD or THE NEW OWNER OF A PUPPET THAT HAS BEEN SOLD AND ONLY THEN WHEN WE GET CONFIRMATION THAT THEY ARE NOW THE NEW OWNER.
We do however ALWAYS maintain the photographic rights to all of our characters. The only way that we have of showing anyone what we can do, is to be able to put the pictures on our website. We may do a similar to a puppet, but we do not do duplicates.
Once we got through the initial conversation with this gentleman, everything was ok. If we have not communicated this policy clearly enough, we apologize to each of you. We want all of our friends and family to always be happy with us, and to that end we strive ceaselessly.
