Recently someone asked me, “Which way will JET go next”? In beginning to try and answer the question, I realized that I had no earthly idea how to answer it. The only way to truthfully begin to answer would be to say “I don’t have a clue”. Just like most of you, the first hint I have of what JET will do next is when she reappears from the “Delivery Room” carrying some new person, creature or animal. There are “trends” though, and right now the trend is for the “smaller” characters.
These would be the type of puppets that you might want to use with smaller crowds or in table to table type venues’ This year at ConVENTion, we took a full size dragon. The dragon disappeared very quickly but not before a good friend of ours spotted it and said that he wanted a smaller version that was “similar” with a head stick/mouth control.
After several hours of foam and fabric being slung in all directions, JET emerged with “Baby Fuego” for our good friend.
This is “Baby Fuego”. He is just 19″ inches tall (including his egg). Nothing that you can imagine is too wild for JET to capture in puppet form. Let your imagination run wild. JET does.
Until next time,
Steve and JET
Read the article about manipulation and muting the sound to concentrate on looking alive. Here’s another good tip, Wait a few days before you view it. This will give you a far better perspective on the performance. You won’t be remembering, “Oh yeah, that’s where so and so happened…..” Try it. It works
