Just about every year, we get a couple of questions from people who want to know what they need to bring to ConVENTion.
So this year we are going to answer the question before it can be asked.
In order to get the most for your trip, these are the things that we suggest you bring.
A book or tote bag.
A spiral notebook for taking notes.
A book that you want to use to collect autographs. Don’t be shy about asking for autographs. I have never seen a Vent yet who denied the request for an autograph.
Don’t be caught with regrets by missing an opportunity. Every year more of the old greats pass on and if you have missed the chance to get an autograph. Case in point. For about 8 years, we had a good friend in Bill DeMar.
I always wanted to ask for his autograph, but just never did. Since last year, Bill has passed away and the opportunity to get his autograph is gone with him.
A good supply of your business cards.
3 or 4 good ink pins.
This is a little different. Go to the front desk and get familiar with the location of the ATM machines. A good number of Vendors do not accept credit cards, but they can always take cash.
