The other night while glued to the tube in hopes of seeing our friend Dr. Baker perform in the auditions with his character Sigmoid Colon, we were again disappointed that we did not see him yet. (The auditions still go on for several more weeks so it may still happen yet)
However, just at the end of the first of two hours we were treated to an unexpected pleasure. A very attractive 20 year old young lady from Nashville named Megan Piphus auditioned with two puppets. She did an outstanding job as a performer and not since Terry Fator in 2007 have I seen a vent do as well with singing in their act. She was a real delight to watch, At the conclusion of her performance, the judges voted her through to Vegas, so be watching for her in upcoming shows. I realize that their are in fact a lot of “politics” involved in a show like AGT, but they cannot over come mass voting for a particular candidate.
There may still be other vents involved in the competition coming up but lets support all of them since they represent each of of as performers and artists.
