We Love Hearing From You

We always love to hear from our friends. This week we heard from our good friend Mark Truman in California. We first met Mark in 2007 at Vent Haven ConVENTion and look forward to seeing him every year in July. Instead of wasting a lot of your time telling you what Mark had to say about his new character, we just asked his permission to republish his note and he kindly granted it. So without further ado, here is Marks note to us. (We added the photos)

Hey you two,…
Just a quick note to let you know that ‘Momma’ made her debut last Saturday night. It was a banquet for the all state Thunderbird Club Convention. ( the car) She did just what she was built for, talking about her kids! Although a bit stiff, in presentation, (by me), Momma carried herself flawlessly and was a great hit! Many ooh’s and aahs were heard when she came out, as well as nice compliments about her after the show.

She wore what she came in and it worked perfectly.

In a recent posting, Steve talked about how a character sometimes takes on a separate life other than what it was originally designed for. this is happening with momma as well. If you remember, one of the things we talked about was that she wasn’t a cougar, but could be”!. Well, it seems that Momma has a secret personality that is beginning to show up, that of “ROXY’ the would be cougar!

She has her a ‘little black dress’ and a bunch of bling, and sparkly shoes, and she seems to be enjoying this side of her personality. It seems that her hubby went out to get the paper one morning, and hasn’t returned yet! It probably goes back to the seminar they attended where the speaker told the guys to always know about your partner. The speaker then asked them if they knew the wife’s favorite flower, Hubby leaned over and asked, “Pillsbury all purpose, right?”. Thus began Hubby’s life of celibacy, and Roxy’s journey to self! Roxy has not made a public appearance but her debut is almost certain!

There are a couple of other personalities that may appear, that of a preachers wife and or Sunday school teacher! (weird, huh?)

Now that she has gotten a taste of the stage, she seems to want to get on it as much as possible!

All in all, I still love her and am very proud of her. She is certainly a gem, and I am grateful to you for her design and creation. Thank you for your talent and creativity,

Mark Truman

Thanks Mark for that nice note. We love getting stuff like that and getting to hear about our characters being used. Thats what keeps us going.

Thats all for now folks,

Steve and JET
