We have returned from our fun little get-a-way for the Christmas season. Before we get started with Vent Fun Stuff, I want to take a few minutes to tell you about our fun time.
About 10 years ago, we met a great new friend at Vent Haven ConVENTion. Kyle Scribner is a fun guy to be around and we soon found that he was multi-talented. He loves the Vent World and had recently moved to the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area as a full time entertainer.
Kyle is also a Licensed Auctioneer ( http://knoxvillebenefitauctioneer.com/ ) and for many years Kyle has served as the official Auctioneer at Vent Haven for the annual fund raising auction for the Vent Haven Museum. Kyle is also an extremely good Ventriloquist using several of JETs puppets in a professional capacity in Gatlinburg.
As 2017 was winding down, I sent Kyle an email and told him that we were planning on coming up to the Gatlinburg area over the Christmas holiday. Kyle told us that he was currently working at the Hatfield – McCoy Dinner Theatre. Kyle got us GREAT seats in the Theatre, row 2, center stage.
If you are ever able to be in the Gatlinburg area, make sure you take the time to attend Hatfield McCoy for some very good, clean family entertainment.
Next door to Hatfield McCoy is a full scale huge museum of the Titanic. It is full of artifacts reclaimed from the real Titanic. We were also able to go through a huge wax museum that took several hours to go through.
We got to spend several days just playing like children and just had a great time. A special thanks again to Kyle Scribner.
