Every year seems to go by faster then the year before.
I remember when I was young that a year was a long time. Now a year is about what 3 months used to seem like.
I guess the lesson to be learned is that life is short and none of us can afford to squander our time. Take time to enjoy those around us that we love. Relish in the time and memories we get to make with those we most need in our lives.
Make plans to make 2018 more productive than 2017. Make good resolutions but make them in small steps.
Don’t promise to become the best Ventriloquist in the world, but make plans to take baby steps to become much better then you were this year.
Make plans to practice Vent just 15 minutes a day more then you do now.

Thank you for the recommendation. For 2018 I have resolved to write at least one joke for my characters each day. That doesn’t sound like much, but at the end of 2018, I will have written 365 jokes. Also, every 2-3 weeks I should have enough material for a 5 minute routine at the open mic venue where I perform. I read that Phyllis Diller had a library of 10,000 jokes. If I live another 27 1/2 years I should get there!
