First, let me say thank you to the large number of you who responded to our request for help two weeks ago. Your responses on the types of puppets you would like to see on our “Available Now” section was very helpful. The responses were to numerous to respond to each person, but each was thoroughly read and noted.
There is a subject that I wish to cover with all of our friends.
If in the course of working for you, we find that your demands are unreasonable, we have two options. We can continue to try and satisfy you, or at our discretion we can terminate the arrangement by merely notifying you that the arrangement is terminated and just refunding your deposit in total.
Those of you who have worked with us know that we try our best to work with you, but when the original agreement is suddenly changed up and a list of 8-10 demands is made on us, I will quickly turn off the faucet of the agreement. I have found over the years that once we think someone is headed down the road to being unreasonable, they don’t usually improve their behavior.
To the contrary, they can’t be satisfied. No matter what you do, they only tend to become more demanding.
We have always reserved the right to work on any project that we choose and decline to work or continue working on any project that we perceive to not be in our interests. 99% of all of our friends understand this and we appreciate this understanding.
Thanks and we will talk again next week.

Your rules sound totally reasonable. If all artisans held to such rules, it might make customers better too. 🙂
I promise I will not be THAT person when I finally order a puppet!
