Something New
As this year comes to a close, take a good look around you and survey all that you have. Have you made good use of all the blessings you have been given?
One area in particular stands out to me. Your puppets. Many, many of you have puppets that have not seen the light of day for a long long time. When you bought them, you thought that you had a use for them. Then something changed your mind.
Pick a room of your house or office. Drag out every puppet you own. Pick each puppet up and do a short routine with it. Maybe something has changed with that puppet you put into storage so long ago. Maybe your voice has been “found”. Maybe it seems to fit with current events. Maybe in good taste it now would enable you to poke fun at some politician. What ever the circumstance, look for ways to use each puppet that you have. After all, you invested in them for some reason when you bought it. Maybe you can now discover what that reason was. It is now the end of another year and the beginning of the next. Look for some way to improve your act that you have not previously thought of.
With that said, we also want to wish each of you a very Happy New Year. May you let your life bring happiness, enjoyment and laughter to others.
