The Stress was just too Much

Well Vent Haven 2013 is in the bag. It was a great year for all who attended. With over 600 folks in attendance, I’m sure we spoke to most all of them 2 or 3 times.

Sunday morning at about 12:30 A.M. we were taking down the last of our display. We could use fatigue as an excuse for what happened next, or we could use stress. In reality, it was just a bit of silliness that comes from a good week that was totally exhausting.

We had a character with us this year named “Malcolm”. He is a bit out of the ordinary in that he came with three sets of eyes, three wigs, and three noses. You can see him now on our “Available Now” page on the website (click here). He offers many possibilities for a performer. You can build him up from scratch during your act, or you can constantly switch out his interchangeable components or what ever you want to do.

Anyway, Sunday morning as we were taking the booth down, our good friend Bob Rumba had a total breakdown and began taking components from Malcolm and using them.

Fortunately we had a camera close by and captured Bobs antics for you to see.

If your sides are not hurting after seeing what Bob can do with mere puppet parts, maybe you just had to be there to see it.

Now we are trying to catch up with ourselves after arriving back home, so that will be about all for this week.

We will talk soon,

Steve and JET

  1. Now THERE’S a “dummy” you could market that would sell like hot-cakes! I might even be interested. I’d have to get a bigger trunk to carry him around, though.
