Now and then something will happen that we find to be just plain funny. This is one of those moments.
Our friend, Pastor Stanley Mohr had ordered a puppet which we had shipped to him several days ago.
We just got this note from him that “Uncle George” had arrived safe and sound, however the rest of the story will be best told by Brother Stan. . . . Here is the email we received from him. . .
Brother Steve,
I just wanted you to know the package arrived yesterday. Thank you!
The lady who delivers the mail pulled her van into the driveway and stepped out with the box in hand. I met her and said, “I see you have Uncle George!”
She got a startled look on her face and said, “What’s that?”
I repeated, “I see you have Uncle George.” I then pointed to the return address label which read Dummy Shoppe.She then got a relieved look on her face and notified me that she occasionally delivers cremains! (-:
