Take advantage of the Holidays

This is just a reminder that we are coming up on the busiest time of the year. The holidays are when everyone is thinking about throwing a party. Everyone wants their party to be better than others in town. They all want to have something that others in town will not have.

Make sure that you don’t miss an opportunity to be that special something for as many parties as you can. For every booking that you get, make sure to use the opportunity for shameless self promotion. Make sure that you have an ample supply of business card on hand BEFORE the holidays. You cannot afford to run out at this time of the year.

Any company that has more than 25 employees is worth stopping by their office and leaving a couple of cards at the receptionists desk. They will probably have a Christmas Party and you want to be the most aggressive Vent in town. Many folks will only hire someone who has taken the time to come by to talk to them. They won’t just look for you in the phone book.

So. . .Have a great Thanksgiving and don’t miss any opportunities.

  1. For the holidays, I dress up as Santa and transform my Jerry Mahoney 40″ replica puppet into Jerry, Santa’s talking elf. Our holiday performances include the Boston Ritz-Carlton on Christmas Day 12/25/12 for their annual Christmas Day Brunch. Dino the Dinosaur and Doug the Talking Dog (from The Dummy Shoppe) will also be performing with us!
