The holidays are when everyone is thinking about throwing a party. Everyone wants their party to be better than others in town. They all want to have something that others in town will not have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure that you don\u2019t miss an opportunity to be that special something for as many parties as you can. For every booking that you get, make sure to use the opportunity for shameless self promotion. Make sure that you have an ample supply of business cards on hand BEFORE the holidays. You cannot afford to run out at this time of the year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Any company that has more than 25 employees is worth stopping by their office and leaving a couple of cards at the receptionists desk. They will probably have a Christmas Party and you want to be the most aggressive Vent in town. Many folks will only hire someone who has taken the time to come by to talk to them.
