Last week we introduced a new concept in puppets. These were to be specifically for the young starting Vents who have limited funds. However, between comments on the Blog and a flood of Email received directly, we were informed that the idea that the Kids line of puppets was only for small hands was a big mistake.

Ok. We heard you all. The two new Kids characters that we have up for today can handle a large hand. That way if you want a small character that you can easily pack in a small bag, these characters are just right.

Future versions of Mini Monkey will also be able to handle large hands.

Keep the comments coming. Only be hearing from you do we really know what you want.

We will talk again next week,

Steve and JET

Do you plan to make any small little girl puppets that could be used with adult hands? Also, when you say they can fit into a small bag, does that mean a gallon sized ziploc bag?

      Hi Carol,
We are planning on doing several human figures. We will aim for both featfeatures. The large hand and the small size.

  2. Ann says:

But will the adult hand size be too big to fit a child’s hand well.? I had no idea there was negative input as I loved your idea of child sized puppets for their smaller hands.

The hints and tips are a great help as when doing a show there is a lot going on and it’s easy to forget little things , lots of little missed things add up , close friends don’t make good critics , I’m used to working on the same level as the audience but this week was on a platform half a metre high and it wasn’t until I saw a photo and realised that my puppets head from an audience point of view was facing slightly up ward , so something else for me to be aware of . Cheers Brian
